The Annual Meeting and Northwest Regional Meeting of the VHL Family Alliance will be held Saturday, June 24, 2006, 10 am - 4 pm. Registration includes lunch. Attendees must make their own hotel arrangements if desired. Be sure to book rooms before June 9 to get into the conference hotel.

 

The meeting on Saturday will be in Meeting Room C at the University Guest House, 110 South Fort Douglas Blvd, Salt Lake City, Utah 84113.

 

For people attending the VHL conference, the hotel rooms will be $69/night plus tax for either a single king, double queen. This price is for 1 or 2 people. Adding a 3rd or 4th person would be an additional $10 each. Children under 18 are free. ADA rooms (outfitted for people with disabilities) are available on request.

 

New Board members will be elected at this meeting, and research grants will be announced.

 

Presenters will include:

Tom Rath, author of the best-selling book "How Full is Your Bucket? will talk with us about his philosophy and his experiences with VHL.

 

Dr. Russell Lonser, Surgery Branch, National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) of the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) will talk about advances in the diagnosis and treatment of endolymphatic sac tumors.

Additional program information will be posted as it becomes available.

 

The Program will include VHL Connections - an opportunity for us just plain folks to share experiences and stories.
