Genes and Kidney Cancer

VHL is the leading genetic cause of kidney cancer. For a complete discussion of VHL, see the VHL Handbook.

In addition to VHL, there are several other familial syndromes that include kidney cancer. See discussion in a paper from the American Society of Clinical Oncology
